Search Engine Optimization & Marketing (SEO/SEM) Expert - Level II
Description

We are looking to expand our networks in the digital marketing era. Our company is in Toronto and we are currently looking to hire a full-time experienced SEO/SEM expert to do On-Page/Off-Page SEO strategy planning, implementation, and optimization at a world-class level. The candidate's knowledge and experience should match over 75% of the following tasks:

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

To be perfect for this position, you will need to:

  • Plan, manage and execute the SEM/SEO strategies
  • Discover and evaluate competitors’ SEO strengths and strategies
  • Perform keyword and topical relevancies study and weekly report
  • Identify and report on-site optimization and improvements including structure, performance, internal linking, meta information, images, canonical Tags, and content
  • Create and audit backlinks to acquire high-quality backlinks and disavow toxic links
  • Prepare and execute content marketing strategy and editorial calendar
  • Collaborate with the other teams, including development, graphic design, multimedia, content
  • Configure, analyze and optimize paid advertising campaigns KPIs to optimize Ranking, Traffic, CTR, Conversion, Visibility, Competition ranking, CPA, etc).
  • Configure Google Analytics Goals, funnels, and other analysis parameters
  • Prepare the initial structure for SEO-friendly website/landing pages before the development
  • Monitor and fix errors in Google Search Console
  • Setup and configure Google Tag Manager and Facebook Pixel
  • Review and revise content before publishing (blog and social)
  • Identify and provide solutions to improve schema markups
  • Optimize local SEO

Skills, and Experience: 

  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience is required
  • Google Tag Manager, FB Pixel, HotJar, HubSpot, and other tracking tools
  • Schema Markup and Google Rich Snippets
  • Advanced Google Analytics features
  • Latest search engines algorithms
  • AMP Page Search Engine Optimization
  • Google Ads and Facebook Ads
  • SEO tools and services including SEMRush, MOZ, Ahref, KWPlanner, HubSpot, Optmyzr, etc.
  • Technical SEO
  • Intermediate English Reading and Writing
  • International experience is an asset.
  • Intermediate English Skill is needed

Any of the following would be an asset:
CSS, HTML, PHP, JavaScripts, UX Design, Content Strategy, Social Media Marketing, Related Certificates, AI Optimized SEO, Influencer Marketing, Digital Marketing Planning, Google BERT Optimization.
